Privacy Policy

How Allegiant Holdings International collects, uses and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Last updated: September 2026

1. Introduction

Allegiant Holdings International (“AHI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or engage with us and our group companies, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have.

By using this website or providing us with your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Who we are

AHI is a South African holding company in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events industry. Our group companies include WY-GO, Global Travel Partners, 360 Degrees Production House, Fogtech AV and Signature Experiences. For the purposes of POPIA, AHI is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Each group company may also process personal information as a responsible party in its own right, under its own privacy policy.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact details — name, job title, company, email address, telephone number and postal address.
  • Event and travel information — where needed to deliver a service: passport or ID details, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, travel preferences and emergency contacts.
  • Commercial information — billing details, VAT numbers and records of the services you have requested.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information and how you use our website.
  • Communications — the content of enquiries, emails and other correspondence you send us.

We only collect special personal information, such as health information for dietary or medical needs, where it is necessary for a service you have asked for and with your consent or as otherwise allowed by law.

4. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you contact us, complete a form, register for an event or enter into an agreement with us. We may also receive it from your employer or event organiser when they book services on your behalf, and automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.

5. How we use it

We process personal information only for lawful purposes, including to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide the services you have requested;
  • plan and deliver meetings, incentives, conferences, events and travel;
  • manage our client and supplier relationships, including billing;
  • comply with our legal, regulatory and tax obligations;
  • improve our website, services and client experience; and
  • send you relevant communications, where you have agreed to receive them.

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to deliver our services or where the law requires it, with:

  • AHI group companies involved in delivering your service;
  • service providers such as airlines, hotels, venues, transport providers and technology partners;
  • professional advisers, auditors and insurers; and
  • regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where legally required.

Third parties that process personal information on our behalf are required to keep it confidential and to have appropriate security measures in place.

7. Cross-border transfers

Because we deliver experiences around the world, we may need to transfer your personal information outside South Africa, for example to a hotel or event partner abroad. We do so only where the recipient is subject to laws, binding rules or an agreement that gives a similar level of protection to POPIA, where you have consented, or where the transfer is necessary to perform a contract with you.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage, unauthorised access and unlawful processing. These include access controls, secure systems and staff confidentiality obligations. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us online. If we become aware of a security compromise affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law, for example tax and accounting rules. When it is no longer needed, we delete it, destroy it or de-identify it.

10. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to help it function properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, although some parts of the website may then not work as intended.

11. Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it;
  • ask us to correct, update or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date or unlawfully held;
  • object to the processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and
  • lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

To exercise these rights, contact our Information Officer using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Access requests are handled in line with our PAIA Manual.

12. Direct marketing

We will only send you electronic marketing if you have agreed to it, or if you are an existing client and the communication relates to similar services. Every marketing message includes a simple way to unsubscribe.

13. Third-party links

This website links to the websites of our group companies and other third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
